* I'm still in cornrows and have been for a week now. I've been oiling my ends with JBCO and massaging my scalp. Daily while out and about I've just been wearing it tucked away under a satin scarf, with a cute ALDO knit hat over it. Doesn't get much more protective than that :) I plan to keep my hair like this for a while. So easy!
* For the first time I have no hair plans for this weekend. The most I'll end up doing is co-washing or oiling.
* I often wonder what it will feel like when I reach my final goal length. I'm positive that I'll be satisfied at waist. To be honest I'm pretty satisfied with MBL and if the front of my hair wasn't so much shorter (bangs, layers, etc) I'd stay here.
* Next major purchase is a hooded dryer. Suggestions?
I did the hat thing while I was home before I got my touch up. Will definitely be utilizing it more often. Its is the cutest protective style with a sideswept bang for the days I don't feel like throwing on a wig.
ReplyDeleteOh, also - I completely feel you regarding your sides. Mine have started to catch up and I think I'm going to stay at BSL whenever I finally reach it so that I can get the "all over" shape I really want then continue onto MBL. It does make a big difference.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and Im doing the same ps reggie but with weaves:)
ReplyDeleteHI. I'm new to the hair journey, but I love the Babyliss hooded dryer. I tried one of the counter top ones and had to take it back. It was too flimsy and it wasn't getting my hair dry.
