My ends (in my opinion) are just alright. Not many splits but they are not completely even, and feel slightly rougher. So I'm thinking about maintaining MBL for a while until the ends even up. I'm not aiming for perfect ends. Just more even and maybe in a U-shape...and of course healthy with no splits. So that means I'll be cutting and trimming more often. I already trimmed an inch or so (very ends and all over) last night.
In the mean time, I'll be preserving my "new" ends by continuing to baggy nightly on non-wash days. Also when I apply product, focus a little extra on the ends. And be extra gentle when detangling braidouts.
It's not all about my ends though. I actually really like being this length. I don't feel like repunzel (okay, maybe a little) but I'm quite happy with my hair.
Right now it seems like MBL is the happy medium between long length and styling options.
I love MBL hair! Its my final stop in this journey and I agree that it is the most versatile in terms of styling. I plan to even up at full BSL then continue on to MBL so I'll be following ur exact plan when I get there.

Once I hit MBL, I think want to hang out at that length as well. I would only gain from it because if I do stay and continue to grow and trim, I'd have even ends and if I decide to push on to WL then I'd be set to reach it with nice full ends. Win/win.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I was on your blog right before I fell asleep and then dreamt I had MBL hair. I woke up a little disappointed haha.
